Tough Times Don't Last, Tough People Do

Tough Times Don't Last, Tough People Do

Sometimes I look at the things I've recently dealt with and wonder why life throws such heavy punches at me. It seems as if I always have so much going on at once, and working a full time job while also operating a brand/business doesn't make it any easier. But one thing I always keep in mind: at the end of every storm is a rainbow.

Last week I experienced many trials and tribulations and although I felt overwhelmed, I kept fighting through it and picking myself back up because giving up would be a bigger regret than failing. As I woke up Friday morning, I decided to try something different. I set a daily goal of speaking positivity into my life before getting my day started. I laid there reciting positive affirmations until I truly felt it in my mind, body and spirit. It seemed as if things began to work in my favor immediately! First, I began to receive lots of orders for the LadyNPink merchandise, which covered half of the unexpected out of pocket expenses from the previous week (thanks a ton Ladies, I am truly appreciative of the support. They will be going out shortly). I took this as a sign from God, letting me know that he is still with me and that everything will work out perfectly in due time.

Lately, I've been feeling very hopeful and inspired to keep working. The results of my hard work are constant reminders and confirmation that it is going to pay off. At this point giving up is not a thought, let alone an option. Success isn't instant and in any field of endeavor takes time and perseverance, as there will be setbacks along the way. Allowing the journey to success to defeat you is more of a loss than actually failing, because you're missing out on the potential growth and lessons that come with it. The best things in life are difficult to achieve but you will cherish the results more in the end because anything worth having is worth working for! If it seems like things are tough for you right now, just remember: God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.

Facts, if success was so easy everyone would be successful. We all go through trials and tribulation at the end of the day but it is the outcome that matters.
